Hi, I’m Melissa. Here is a short list of what makes me who I am:

My main hobby is art, I focus on watercolors. You can find my art here.

I enjoy cooking elaborate meals with my partner. I’m Mexican and he is Canadian.

A bookworm at heart, you can find me updating my goodreads profile very often. Besides design books, I enjoy historical fiction, sci-fi, fantasy and romance. Recommendations are always welcome!

I lived in Japan for a year. I can do small talk in japanese and read basic kanji.

I used to be a streamer on twitch, my channel was about my art process.

Like many others, my work has been impacted by COVID-19.  I’m looking for a full-time, remote job opportunity.

Why would I be a great addition to your team?

Fast learner. Aquiring new knowledge is fun for me.

Pro-active. When I see room for improvement I will comment on it.

I guard the pixel grid with my life.

My brain is wired for analytical thinking. It also means I take too much time writing long emails. But who doesn’t, right?

I will never lose a file. Ever. Organization is my obsession  passion.

I like to voice my thoughts and discuss creative ways to make our work effective and enjoyable.

Reasons I would join your team:

Either directly or indirectly your mission should be to make this world a better place. It would be my dream to join a team that has social, cultural, scientific and/or environmental causes behind them. I want to leave a better world for the next generation.

Respect for work and time balance. My hobbies bring joy to my life and make my work better because of them.

Flexibility and adaptability are a must. I would like to join a team that is not afraid to change and improve when better processes become available. I believe in collaborative teamwork.
